| We imported Orquidea Mor
from Mexico where as a two-year old, she had placed First in the
National Championship, Monterrey, Mexico. Her bloodlines are
exceptional! Her dam, Guia, won the 1997 Adult Mare, National
Championship, Mexico. Her sire, Zico, was a foundation stallion for
the champion breeder Cortijo Las Morerias, Mexico, and took many Gold
Medal awards in Portugal and in Mexico. Her grandsire, Nilo, was bred
and ridden by Manuel Tavares Veiga and featured several times in the
book "Veiga Horses" by Alberto Tavares Barreto. Orquidea's great
grandsire "Minuto" , another famous Veiga stallion, featured in the
book "Veiga Horses". |

NALIA OK was imported from Brazil by Vicky Spice, Wisconsin, in 2004.
We purchased Nalia in March 2008 to become part of our breeding
program. She was seven months pregnant when we moved her from
Wisconsin to Florida. She remained calm throughout the ordeal,
including a snow storm. She has a low-key personality, keeps to
herself, and is undemanding. All of her babies are big with beautiful
heads, sturdy legs, and her self-assurance. |
