Shown for the first time at IALHA Regional Championships 2006 and took many awards in Open Classes as well as Amateur Classes.

Orquidea Mor was imported from Mexico where she placed First in 1998 as a two-year old in the National Championship, Monterrey , Mexico . Orquidea's dam, Guia, won Champion Adult Mare, National Championship, Mexico , 1997, and numerous championships in Monterrey , Mexico , in 1998. Her sire, Zico, was a foundation sire for the Cortijo Las Morerias and took many Gold Medal awards in Portugal and in Mexico.
